When you tire of the 3km long sandy beaches there are numerous restaurants and other distractions including a casino. No wonder this area is where the Parisians come to play.
This is one of the most accessible areas of France, a relaxing half hour drive across the Emerald Coast takes you to St Malo and Dinard where you can catch a ferry or a plane to various parts of the UK: St Malo - Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands; Dinard via RyanAir to London, Bristol, Birmingham or East Midlands. Other transport options include ferries to Roscoff, Caen or Cherbourg (2-3hrs) or flights to Brest, Rennes or Nantes (1.5 - 2.5 hrs).
