This is one of the most accessible areas of France, a relaxing half hour drive across the Emerald Coast takes you to St Malo and Dinard where you can catch a ferry or a plane to various parts of the UK: St Malo – Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands; Dinard via RyanAir to London, Bristol or East Midlands. Other transport options include ferries to Roscoff, Caen or Cherbourg (2-3hrs) or flights to Brest, Rennes or Nantes (1.5 – 2.5 hrs).
