My journey through France began at the age of 9 when my family upped sticks to the Dordogne and bought a large Manor house in need of renovation, 10 years later the project was completed and my family moved to Provence in search of a new venture an old silk worm farm to renovate , and I headed back to the uk. Several years later the lure of france was too great ! 13 years ago my husband and I followed our dream and purchased a plot of land and built our home in Provence. Now a family of 4 with two boys 5 and 8 we are happily settled in Provence and have intergrated well having a good mix of french and international friends , we enjoy all that the south of france has to offer , with over 300 days of sunshine and stunning scenery of mountain landscapes, beautiful coastlines and only a short drive into Italy what is there not to like?
