In the region of Morlaix, North Finistère, variety is the spice of life : the weather, the scenery and even pe ople’s moods can change within a few miles.So do house prices! It usually starts in historic Roscoff which gives you access to numerous sandy beaches, eastbound and westbound, as well as to the centre of Brittany with its magnificent peaks and landscapes. Morlaix itself is a good port of call with its marina, food market, shopping malls and the essential local authorities. Travelling is made easy using planes, trains or automobiles to the rest of Brittany, France and Europe, but more often than not, you won’t feel the need to stretch out this far.

About me

Born in Paris, but having worked and lived in London and Yorkshire for 12 years and having bought and sold a house over there, I can understand and explain the many differences between the French and the British systems, whether you are buying or selling a property. I was self employed for 7 years before joining Leggett, upgrading properties in order to sell them or to let them quickly. Before that, I worked in estate agencies for 6 years. I’ve been known to lose at pétanque, seen climbing up some rocks in both wet and dry weather (unable to climb back down though) and I’ll go for a stroll on the beach as soon as I find a decent dog or a decent horse.
